Lysol

Encore Worldwide, LLC, a full-service experiential marketing agency, worked with Groove Jones to create an engaging, interactive concert experience — Lysol Air-Aoke. The goal was to enhance their customer's activation and introduction of new Lysol products at the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta, GA, and then later at the People's Choice Country Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The primary objective was to develop an interactive karaoke experience centered around the concept of removing germs from the air. The whole idea behind the experience was to illustrate, in a fun and engaging way, how germs spread when singing karaoke and how Lysol can help eliminate 99.9% of germs.

Perot Museum

Groove Jones worked with the Perot Museum of Nature and Science to develop a new interactive bird flight simulator for their Rose Hall of Birds exhibit. The experience is called “Tournament of Flight,” it is an interactive game that uses camera vision to track the guest's body to give them control to pilot a Red-Tailed Hawk through a series of rings. Groove Jones developed a sophisticated motion tracking system that allowed guests to interact with the simulator seamlessly via hands-free camera vision and markerless tracking.

Aurea Software

Aurea is an enterprise software company reimagining how companies can streamline communication and collaboration across dozens of subsidiaries and global locations. They wanted to make a big splash at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by using the latest and greatest technology to demonstrate their vision of the future of enterprise business. The team proposed creating a large-scale holodeck experience creating a large-scale holodeck experience leveraging an interactive game engine and an LED volumetric stage that would allow participants to step into a fully immersive space to see and interact with the future.

Riot Games

The largest tournament in the League of Legends calendar, LoL Worlds, just wrapped, and National Experiential brought on Groove Jones to help kick off the event at a media event held in the historic Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco. The world's top League of Legends players gathered in San Francisco to compete for the title of the best player.

The Groove Jones team designed and animated a CGI version of Lil Nas X projected on a 60-foot tall scrim, creating a massive holographic effect for the media and fans that gathered below.

St. Louis Aquarium

“Otter Chat” is an interactive talk show attraction featuring the new St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station. Designed by Groove Jones in collaboration with Moondog Animation, the attraction consists of an improvisational conversation with Tommy the Otter, a North American River Otter, and the show's star. The technology allows the aquarium to teach guests about otters, conservation, and educational fact about how they live.

Disney

For the new Avatar: The Way of the Water movie trailer release, we produced a giant, 60-foot-wide holographic projection over Niagara Falls. The activation occurred in the Niagara Falls State Park, in front of the Falls. The giant holographic projection with the backdrop of Niagara Falls was used as part of a video promotion for the new trailer featuring James Cameron — Creator and Director of Avatar. The location was selected because James Cameron grew up in the Niagara Falls area.

Sleep Number

For the second year in a row, Sleep Number asked Groove Jones to support them at another Super Bowl. Sleep Number is the Official Sleep and Wellness Partner of the NFL. We created a multiplayer Quarterback Challenge VR game that allows fans to experience firsthand how a good and bad night's sleep can impact your performance.

Fans of all ages got to step out onto the 50-yard line and compete in the biggest VR Football game ever seen. This was all part of the 10-day NFL Fan Experience event leading up to the big game in Atlanta, GA.

FX Networks

Comic-con San Diego is the largest convention of its kind in the world, with nearly 400,000 people in attendance. FX Networks' goal with its "American Horror Story" activation at San Diego Comic-Con was to scare and excite the series' fans without revealing spoilers of the upcoming season. What materialized was a mysterious sneak peek of what was to come, fueled by an augmented reality-enabled tour of the "American Horror Story Eccentricities Collection."
