XR — AR/VR/MR for Branded Engagement and Marketing

TwitterFacebook

We wrote the book for using XR for brand engagement and marketing. Those are bold words, but we have the credentials to back that up. XR Marketing comes in a wide range of forms. We've done everything from interactive AR to touchscreen to real-time render multiuser VR. We have you covered in AR for lenses, mobile apps, social, and the web. No other studio has the experience that Groove Jones brings to the table.

Our team provides full turnkey productions that begin with the idea, and we manage and run the production to white-glove treatment when we install it. We provide creative and software development. But we also can deliver the hardware to run it if necessary.

The project's primary focus was creating a user-friendly WebGL site designed to let users interactively explore the exterior and interior of the Toyota Mirai in detail. Groove Jones developed detailed 3D models of both the XLE and Limited editions, focusing on delivering high-quality visuals and interactive elements to draw users into the Mirai experience.

Groove Jones surpassed everything. As a result of this collaboration, we've redefined the way we market, sell, and educate people about the product. We've eliminated print materials, brochures, quick reference guides, and even training classes because of the AR kit. It's revolutionized our processes. We plan on starting another project with them shortly.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are partnering up with Kristaps Porzingis to launch #KrisStops, a new community initiative to fight childhood hunger. With every block this season, Porzingis will donate $500 to the Mavs Foundation, which will then be distributed to local organizations to help stop hunger in North Texas. Groove Jones is working with the Dallas Mavericks to launch the program through an Augmented Reality experience running with an oversized wallscape mural downtown Dallas.

AT&T

AT&T and the PGA TOUR are making it possible for golf fans to get closer to the action at the famous California course for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this year. Groove Jones was asked to create multiple digital and interactive experiences that allowed fans to engage with a hologram version of Jordan Spieth (the 11-time winner of the PGA TOUR), giving fans the chance to interact with the star virtually as well as an interactive golf club swing experience.

Ford

We were asked by GTB and Ford to create an immersive and interactive VR experience for the public and press to get a firsthand look at the deep suite of Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety products. Consumers and the press got a chance to take a VR driving experience in the Ford Edge and Explorer vehicles, that took them on a journey from their home, a drive on a busy highway, and then into the city. This five-minute interactive experience put them in a variety of scenarios where they faced numerous obstacles and hazards to demonstrate safety technology.

Toyota

When our friends at George P. Johnson shared their interactive exhibit concept designed to immerse auto show guests in the new Toyota TRD Pro series trucks, we knew an MR (Mixed Reality) experience would be the perfect way to do just that. Mixed Reality gives us the ability to leverage the physical vehicles that are on-site and overlay a digital and interactive layer to an activation. Our development team created an App that uses the latest iOS ARKit platform to track the Toyota TRD Pro trucks allowing for an exclusion-based AR experience.

Amazon

To celebrate the new year, Groove Jones helped Amazon use AR (Augmented Reality) at a health and wellness event. The private event was held in New York and included some of the top fashion social media influencers and bloggers. iPads were set up around various stations at the event for the guests to interact and engage with the AR experience.

McDonald's

Groove Jones is proud of the work we did on the McDonald's V-Artist experience for the SXSW Festival in Austin Texas. The activation was voted the #1 VR experience at this year's festival and the results were amazing. Check out the case study here — https://groovejones.com/mcdonalds-2016-sxsw-event/ Groove Jones over-delivered. They exceeded expectations. Our leadership was stunned by what we were able to do in such a short time with them, and they were highly regarded by my team. Their amazing work resulted in a lot of press about the Happy Meal VR experience. The number of articles that came out of it, the positive sentiment, and the social sharing tweets were great. It was rated one of the top experiences at South by Southwest. DeLu Jackson, Vice President Global Digital, McDonald's
