XR — AR/VR/MR/AI for Training, Sales Enablement, and Recruiting

TwitterFacebook

XR is an umbrella term encompassing augmented (AR), virtual (VR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies. Fortune 500 companies use XR for Enterprise and Business training, demonstrations, and product development. Groove Jones is working with companies to innovate and explore how XR can be integrated into their training and development initiatives.

We create custom software solutions and license our GrooveTech systems for companies looking to deploy programs using immersive technology.

Implementing Extended Reality (XR) tools and programs into your organization is an investment to help you achieve many of your workforce goals. XR is already an active employee training and development player in several industries. Through simulated environments, scenarios, and interactions, XR training engages employees in experiential learning, arguably the best way to learn new skills or practice existing ones. NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND because XR training includes the four principal learning styles — Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic. You can demonstrate your innovation and leadership by adopting these technologies and engaging with today’s digitally connected workforce.

Improved knowledge retention and increased engagement are natural byproducts of XR training. We can integrate gamification into an XR training program to boost employee engagement through earning points or completing a complex task. XR supports a “learn by doing” approach for optimized information and knowledge absorption. Remote access through XR training is easier than ever before, with the elimination of instructors and trainees needing to be in the same space simultaneously.

Enterprise-level hardware is more affordable than ever, and the latest tetherless headsets and equipment make it plug-and-play – no accurate technology background knowledge is needed to set up. We can also plug into your existing LMS systems for tracking and customization for your user base.

While one program cannot solve all your workforce challenges, creating unique VR programs will help you with the following:

  • Attention
  • Assessment
  • Acquisition and Recruiting
  • Retention and Training

You do not need an internal XR expert within your organization to begin. Groove Jones will be there every step of the way, from POC or MVP productions to fully realized enterprise solutions. We have helped some of the most recognized brands in the world implement XR into their IT or HR team’s workflow. From the initial proof of concept to complete Enterprise development programs. Groove Jones will be your partner.

We’ve launched more XR experiences than most studios in the space and will bring unique subject matter expertise to this production that will reduce your teams’ risk and increase the program’s success. We hope that this response reflects our sincere desire to earn your business.

Immersive Learning for the Future Workforce

  • As remote workforce training becomes a reality, XR is the future for education and training.
  • Accelerated digitization changes skill requirements; the future workforce requires a more active and ongoing approach to training.
  • By combining virtual environments and repeatable and standardized interactions, we can help provide experiential learning for individual workers’ needs.
  • Benefits of XR-enabled immersive training include lower costs, increased employee engagement, and the ability to mirror real-life situations.

Groove Jones is an official partner with numerous hardware manufacturers, including HTC, Pico, Meta, Apple, Magic Leap, and Microsoft.

GrooveTech™ VR for Business Platform

We understand how powerful VR can be for training and product demonstrations. That is why we have created a platform that can be customized to meet our client’s needs. The platform is the most robust and comprehensive system available. We have designed it to be used on any of the VR HMDs on the market, including Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift, as well as the HTC Vive and Vive Pro.

Reduce Your Operational Costs

Organizations can cut expenses on employee travel and transporting equipment to training locations. Trainers themselves can also be part of the VR programming using our platform so that companies can reduce faculty costs.

Increased Employee Engagement and Retention

With the ability to build in scoring mechanisms and gamified levels, immersive XR training can be more engaging and fun. When trainees are connected and interested, it leads to better retention.

Mirror Real-World Situations Safely

We can create real-life situations and do it safely. Immersive learning is effective at emphasizing things through visualization. Employees can reach more significant expertise in less time by providing environments that mimic real-life situations.

Several of our clients are currently using the platform, and we have also integrated it into Oculus's Enterprise system. For more information, please reach out to us to learn more —https://groovejones.com/contact/

Toyota Motor North America

Safety is their priority at Toyota, especially in a manufacturing environment surrounded by large, heavy equipment. Groove Jones created a VR training experience that utilizes Role-based Learning (RBL) to assist with this safety initiative. Role-based training is essential for employees to understand how to incorporate safety protocols into their daily work to avoid accidents. The VR experience contains different work environments like a manufacturing plant, a parts distribution center, and administrative offices. The User confronts unsafe practices, allowing them to observe and interact with virtual coworkers engaging in unsafe practices, which can lead to accidents. The program helps users understand that their approach can make the situation safer.

Toyota Motor North America

Who said Machine Risk assessments for safety training had to be boring? Toyota Motors of North America brought on Groove Jones to produce and develop a VR experience that teaches team members about assessing risks associated with new equipment on the factory floor. The Machine Risk Assessment VR App allows a team member to view a sizeable mechanical piece of equipment, like a robotic arm on the factory floor, with potential safety hazards. In each user's session, the app selects a set of potential hazards that they can explore and assess. The App was built to randomly select subsets of hazards each time a user runs the App. This introduces replayability — the user will not see the same dangers each time they are in the experience, allowing them to gain additional insight and training.

Ideal Industries

Ideal Industries is using VR to train the next generation of electrical tradesmen. Groove Jones built the platform. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), the US is expected to have a shortage of electricians shortly. Statistically, the number of retiring electricians is outpacing the rate of new electricians entering the field, with 10,000 retiring each year and only 7,000 entering the area in return. As a result, this produces a knowledge gap in the electrical industry, which creates the need for additional training resources to prepare the next generation of electrical tradesmen.

IVRY Technologies is the start-up Virtual Reality (VR) initiative created by IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., a global enterprise with companies serving technicians and workers across various industries, from electrical to construction to aerospace to automotive.

Be Pro Be Proud

Be Pro Be Proud is a national non-profit spearheading the movement to bring a new generation of pride, progress, and professionals to a state’s skilled workforce. As the current skilled workforce is at or near retirement age, Be Pro Be Proud hopes to change how High School students think about these job opportunities by using exciting, gamified VR experiences. Groove Jones worked with the Be Pro Be Proud leadership team and state sponsors to create multiple VR experiences. Each VR experience highlights unique skill-based career jobs available within the state. The VR experiences are designed to drive awareness about the specific job and motivate the students to pursue a career by implementing gamification tactics.
