We created a lot of excitement in the OOH space when we developed the largest AR Mural for the Dallas Mavericks. Now that we have started the craze, people want to turn any large (or small) 2D image into an exciting interactive digital experience. Groove Jones is considered the leader in the AR print-activated space, and our work speaks for that! The promise of using your mobile device and camera to unlock digital content is happening today. There are numerous ways to activate these murals and printed products without downloading an App.

We can do this by using major social platforms like TikTok or Snap, or we can create a WebAR experience and bring a mural, poster, or billboard to life with just your camera and a web browser. It is scalable and can be viewed anywhere in the world.

WebAR

Bringing Printed Labels to Life

WebAR allows consumers to activate the bottles through a mobile Web page on their phone, eliminating the need for a mobile App. Consumers scan the Victoria QR Code on the limited edition 12-pack, 6-pack, or individual bottle labels. Consumers can scan the QR code located on our limited-edition Victoria packaging or point-of-sale (POS) in stores nationwide. Once the camera detects the Victoria beer bottle, the unique Catrina design starts coming to life — animating with beautiful sounds, colors, and other authentic holiday elements. Each unique bottle design unlocks a different AR experience — three in total.

General Mills partnered with Groove Jones to create multiple AR experiences for two of their top-selling brands – Cheerios and Nature Valley Granola Bars. Dallas Mavs
Groove Jones helped the Dallas Mavericks launch the largest AR installation ever, and fans got to experience it for the season opener. This spectacular wall AR experience can be found on the largest canvas available in the heart of downtown Dallas. The mural stretches across the YMCA building and measures 70′ x 200′, making it the largest Augmented Reality installation using the Spark AR Studio on Facebook. Client: Foxwoods Resort and Casino

Foxwoods
Voted the best casino outside of Las Vegas, Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut offers its guests an enthralling experience in its resort and seven casinos. Being one of the largest casinos in North America, they went big again by partnering with New England’s finest Red Sox world champion, David Ortiz.
