TRI-KES Interiors Uses VR to Allow Customers to Design Custom Interiors

TwitterFacebook

We recently worked with TRI-KES on an incredible VR experience for the HD Expo in Las Vegas. This event showcases products for the interior design industry, architects, owners/operators, developers, and purchasers in the hospitality industry. The booth’s virtual reality experience created quite the buzz at this year’s show. Customers participating were given HTC Vive controllers and headsets to instantly transport them into a virtual space – a modern hotel lobby.

Customers then had access to over 300 upholstery and wall covering patterns and materials to create their custom interior design look.

Social Share Kiosks

After designing their custom space, customers could socially share their work. The materials used in the design were then shipped to the customer.

Customers use the kiosks on location to post their designs to social channels.[/caption]

Customers who designed their own space also received samples of the materials that they used in the experience. These materials were automatically sent to the customers.

Full 360 spaces were available to explore.

Over 300 Materials

Over 300 materials were available in the VR experience to customize the look and feel of the interior.
