Founded in 2011, Zappar has been trailblazing and setting best practices in the AR space for nearly a decade. They are a creative business and an augmented reality software platform rolled into one. ZapWorks is an award-winning suite of tools for creating AR experiences, built for designers and developers.
Groove Jones has been using Zappar’s toolset for several of our productions and we were thrilled that they asked Groove Jones if we would be interested in highlighting our work and experience using their platform. We were obviously thrilled to be one of the six companies they chose to include in their 2020 WebAR Guide.
The Guide covers an overview of WebAR, best practices, how to deliver WebAR, QR Code best practices, and product considerations.
It is a great 3rd party guide of the technology and it provides additional insight into what Groove Jones has been evangelizing. The guide has been written to give brands and agencies practical advice surrounding the benefits and opportunities of WebAR but also highlight the current limitations and pitfalls of the tech in the short term.
