Groove Jones worked with AT&T to create a 30-second video ad for their recruitment campaign, displayed on the Discovery District Media Wall in Dallas, Texas. The ad aimed to position AT&T as a top employer using anamorphic video techniques for a 3D visual effect on a digital billboard, enhancing viewer engagement and brand visibility.

Groove Jones produced 3D CGI assets, animation, visual effects, and editorial services. It ensured that the ad aligned with AT&T’s branding.

The ad featured AT&T personnel of various professions with captions like “Join,” “Lead,” “Inspire,” and “Connect,” concluding with “Connecting Changes Everything.” A QR code was prominently displayed for viewers to scan and apply for jobs at AT&T.

Behind the Production – Apple Vision Pro

The Groove Jones team used Apple Vision Pro during the design of the animation, ensuring the anamorphic effect worked. We could test and demo the billboard within our studio by viewing a 3D model of the Discovery District Media Wall, allowing us to virtually stand in front of the billboard.
