AT&T’s 3D Anamorphic Billboard for Recruiting Talent
Groove Jones worked with AT&T to create a 30-second video ad for their recruitment campaign, displayed on the Discovery District Media Wall in Dallas, Texas. The ad aimed to position AT&T as a top employer using anamorphic video techniques for a 3D visual effect on a digital billboard, enhancing viewer engagement and brand visibility.
Groove Jones produced 3D CGI assets, animation, visual effects, and editorial services. It ensured that the ad aligned with AT&T’s branding.

AT&T Team Members Featured in Ad
The ad featured AT&T personnel of various professions with captions like “Join,” “Lead,” “Inspire,” and “Connect,” concluding with “Connecting Changes Everything.” A QR code was prominently displayed for viewers to scan and apply for jobs at AT&T.
The ad features several team members from different careers within AT&T.
The idea was to highlight the variety of jobs available.
The Call To Action screen at the end of the ad unit featured a giant QRCode, that people could scan to learn more about AT&T jobs.
After scanning the QRCode, job seekers were sent to a website where they could apply for positions.
Behind the Production – Apple Vision Pro
The Groove Jones team used Apple Vision Pro during the design of the animation, ensuring the anamorphic effect worked. We could test and demo the billboard within our studio by viewing a 3D model of the Discovery District Media Wall, allowing us to virtually stand in front of the billboard.
This collaboration resulted in a visually engaging ad that leveraged technology to enhance AT&T’s recruitment campaign, demonstrating the impact of innovative advertising in attracting potential employees.
